Hillary: she can’t win for losing.

August 20, 2008

Hillary Clinton has gone above and beyond the call of duty. After being repeatedly smeared with lies by an opponent from her own party, having the rules changed to handicap her historic candidacy, and actually being denied the nomination after winning both the overall popular vote, and by an even greater margin, the vote of registered Democrats, she will still be blamed for the loss of the most unprepared, superficial, boneheaded, egotistical candidate the party could find.

There is a recurring theme from the Obama campaign through its surrogates in the Obamedia. First it was “WWTSBQ?”. Because, of course, by continuing to beat him in the primaries she forced him into playing the race card on her instead of saving it for the Republicans. Then it was “Why can’t the stupid b@#@ get her supporters to hop on the Unity Pony?”. As if it was some kind of horrendous imposition on the candidate to actually appeal to the voters of his party himself. Now comes act three in this absurd production by Obama for America: “We’re gonna lose and it’s all that stupid b@#*@ fault!”

The Clinton campaign’s approach provided John McCain and his advisers with a road map for battling Barack Obama, and actually started them down that path, according to the Arizona senator’s communications director in the 2000 campaign. It seems to be working: Polls show McCain has cut Obama’s lead to a single point

The pathology of the New Democratic party seems to be that the root of all that is unholy is caused by one single force of nature: Hillary Rodham Clinton. Forgive me if I’m naive, but I thought that was a Republican affliction. But then again everything about Obama for America seems to have more in common with the Republican Party than the traditional Democrats. To add insult to injury, this attack on Hillary is two-fold. Not only did she provide the Road Map to John McCain to bring down Obama, she was too ethical incompetent to use it. This was demonstrated by the memo non-story in The Atlantic. CNN’s resident dinosaur, Bill Schneider shares this bit of wisdom:

“The McCain campaign believes that some of Hillary Clinton’s tactics, especially questioning whether Obama is ready to lead, can be a real winner,” Schneider said.

OMG, REALLY??!! They would have never thought of that. And of course, it couldn’t POSSIBLY be true could it? I mean doesn’t the story go something like “Then Obama created Obama, and he saw that it was good…” No, it was that b@^& Hillary again!! She betrayed us all by selling out Obama to McCain for her thirty pieces of silver. Whatever THAT might be, right?

Hillary Clinton tried her hardest to convince Americans that Obama was not qualified to be president, and she was right. She held back from totally embarrassing him because she is a loyal partisan. Now the Republicans are going after him no holds barred. They would have gone after Hillary too, had she been awarded the nomination that she earned. In return she would have hit right back. You know attacking her opponent from the opposition party. She certainly wouldn’t have tried to lay the blame at Obama’s feet. I mean, that would be absurd, right…?

I sincerely hope that at this time of personal sadness for Senator Clinton that she has surrounded herself with family and loved ones. I cannot imagine going through all that she has suffered at the hands of the treacherous usurpers who have hijacked our Democratic Party. That, in addition to the recent tragic deaths of some of her closest friends must certainly be almost unbearable. She truly has the constitution of a President. And if the Party wakes up and does the right thing and nominates her, she WILL be president. Because whereas Obama doesn’t stand a chance against McCain, Hillary would wipe the floor with him. And the media, the Democrats, the Republicans, the voters, hell, EVERYONE knows it!

Mawm & Gary’s Denver Adventure

August 20, 2008

First of all, let me thank all of you for your donations to our gas fund for the trip. Travelling in a behemoth RV is not going to be cheap. Thanks to all of you we raised nearly $1000 for the ride, which should help us afford to eat while we travel too! I don’t have a picture of the actual RV (its in the shop until tomorrow), but here is a similar model:

The PUMAmobile

The PUMAmobile

Mawm and I would love to stop and see every single Conflucian along the way, but we’ve got a little over 48 hours to get from NC to Denver, so we won’t be able to stop anywhere for very long. We do want to stop and see people though. Murphy told us at the conference that they are going to have a flat screen TV at PUMA HQ which will show a loop of PUMA you tube videos. We would LOVE to capture a few minutes of some PUMAS we meet along the way that we could add to the mix. Therefore I am posting the google map below to give you an idea of our route. If you are within 50-100 miles of it, please contact us at mawmandgary@gmail.com if you would like to send a message to Denver. If you would like to travel to a point on our map to meet us, that would be great too. We have the camera, so all you have to bring is yourself, PUMA friends, and a message for the DNC (and Hillary if you’d like). We will also be reporting from the road on a daily basis as well, and be giving updates from the places we stop. We may even interview regular voters we meet while we’re on the road to get the “pulse” of the heartland. And don’t forget, we have to come back too, and we’ll have a bit more time then. We are thinking of a more southerly return route, so if you are in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, etc, don’t hesitate to write us! For everyone else who is going to be there, See you in Denver!!!!

Ok, so here’s the route:
