So we’re sitting in a gas station in the middle of Kansas waiting for the bank to restore our bank card because they thought someone must have stolen it and gone on a cross-country spending spree. Just another glitch from an otherwise fabulous journey. I am going to write very little since I have precious little battery power. Last night we met Katiebird who is every bit as funny, smart, and great to hang out with as she is here, and more. We ended up chatting until the wee hours, but I managed to get some Katiebird wisdom on film to share with you all. I apologize for the quality, I’m STILL learning how to use youtube…..and my video camera.

Finally, here’s a shot of Mawm and Katiebird from last night. We hope to be in Denver in time for the protest tonight, but whatever happens, we’ll have an update later on! Now I hear we got the card up and running, so we’re off!
